- Was born & raised in Denver and relocated to Colorado Springs in 1982.

Inspired into my current "appreciation" for the tax system in 1983 when, in my first year of marriage, we owed over $2000. (I received an intimidating and threatening collection call from the IRS and decided this would never happen again!)

Worked for Sears Income Tax Service in 1984. (Yep - in the mall!)

While earning a degree in Accounting in 1986, I began working for a local CPA office and continued there through 1991. I began working with The Walsh Company, Inc. in 1992 succeeding a retiring partner. (Thank you Frank!)

"Purchased" Walsh Company in December of 1998, changing it's name to LWA, Inc. in January 1999.

Successfully passed the Enrolled Agent exam and received my designation and license from the Internal Revenue Service in 2001.

Was born in Louisiana and grew up traveling around the country with my parents.

In 1985, married a Colorado native and have since lived in Colorado most of our married life. We have two teenagers, which tends to keep our life very exciting.

I have worked in various aspects of the accounting field for years including banking, healthcare & mutual funds.

In 2002, I enrolled at DeVry University to pursue a Bachelor's Degree in Business/Accounting. After graduating in 2006, I realized that I missed school and am now currently enrolled at Keller School of Management. I am planning on graduating with my Master's/CPA by June 2008.

In my spare time, I enjoy skiing with my family, scrapbooking, and gardening.
